On March 4, the Supervisory and Inspection Delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Election Council led by Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, worked in Khanh Hoa province on election preparation work.
The working delegation inspected the reality at ballot box No. 12 (Nha Trang ward).
Here, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh praised the efforts of the forces participating in the election work; highly appreciated the local authorities' careful preparation of facilities to serve the election day.
Head of the supervisory delegation noted that localities need to organize reception and guide voters to vote in accordance with regulations; ensure absolute security and safety in the voting area, and fire and explosion prevention.

Residential areas need to launch emulation movements, mobilize voters to vote early and fully, creating a great festival atmosphere for the whole people.
Mr. Tran Sy Thanh requested Khanh Hoa to continue to promote information and propaganda work; urge the implementation of the law on elections, ensuring that the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely, and economically.
According to the Head of Delegation, the selected delegates must be typical in virtue and talent, worthy of representing the will, aspirations and right to mastery of the people in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the new term.
Mr. Tran Sy Thanh requested localities to review and update voter lists; proactively develop forecasting plans, handle arising situations, and not be passive.
Voting areas must fully prepare conditions for facilities and human resources; pay attention to plans to ensure political security, social order and safety, and prevent natural disasters and unusual incidents.
According to a report by the Election Commission of Khanh Hoa province, so far 65/65 communes, wards, and special zones have completed listing the list of more than 1.6 million voters according to regulations.
Preparing for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels, the province has established 4 National Assembly deputy election committees, 19 Provincial People's Council deputy election committees and 387 Commune-level People's Council deputy election committees; approved 1,123 polling stations, corresponding to 1,123 constituencies.
The Provincial Election Commission has also organized professional training on election work, summarizing results and making vote counting records for localities.
The National Election Council has announced the list of 20 candidates for National Assembly deputies in 4 electoral units of Khanh Hoa to elect 12 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term (7 deputies residing and working in localities and 5 deputies introduced by the Central Government).
For the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, there are 108 candidates to elect 67 delegates. The commune-level People's Council is expected to elect 1,392 delegates.
