On May 21, leaders of Nam Dinh ward said that a cargo ship suddenly got stuck under Do Quan bridge while moving on the Dao River.
Initial information, at about 8 pm on May 20, a cargo ship with registration number HD-58xx traveling on the Dao River was trapped under Do Quan bridge, Ninh Binh province. At the time of the incident, Mr. Tran Van C. (born in 1998) was the vehicle operator, and the ship was not carrying goods.
Leaders of Nam Dinh ward added that immediately after discovering the incident, functional forces and related units inspected the scene and deployed a rescue plan to remove vehicles from under the bridge.
To serve rescue work, handle incidents and ensure safety for people, functional agencies have temporarily banned cars from traveling through Do Quan bridge until further notice.
