According to a report from functional agencies of Quang Ninh city, the labor accident occurred at about 7 pm on September 6th in the +50 level waste dumping area of Hoa Son Joint Stock Company, belonging to the Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin mine.
The victim is Mr. D. S. S (born in 1987, permanently residing in Mau Lam commune, Thanh Hoa province), a worker driving a transport truck of Hoa Son Joint Stock Company.
According to preliminary developments, in the 2-day shift on September 6, Mr. S was assigned to operate a Zoomlion ZT160 truck, with a tonnage of 90 tons, transporting soil and rocks to dump at the +50 level landfill.
At about 7 pm on the same day, when driving a truck carrying soil and rocks to the +50 waste yard, Mr. S discovered flames appearing in the front right tire area of the car. Mr. S got out of the car, used a fire extinguisher to handle the incident, then the front right tire suddenly exploded, causing Mr. S's death.
After the accident, Hoa Son Joint Stock Company and Ha Tu Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin coordinated to rescue and extinguish the fire at the car, and at the same time reported to functional agencies.
Hoa Son Joint Stock Company, located in group 7, zone 7, Ha Tu ward, Quang Ninh city, is a contractor for transporting soil and rocks for Ha Tu Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin.
At the time of reporting, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh City Police and the City Labor Accident Investigation Team are coordinating to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
