On August 23, despite Hanoi continuously having rain, on many roads managed by the Hanoi Department of Construction, groups of workers still diligently renovated streets, cleaned the environment, and repaired damage and discrepancies on the traffic signal system, contributing to ensuring a bright, clean, beautiful urban appearance and safe traffic.
Recorded at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection, groups of workers of Hanoi Transport Works Joint Stock Company 2 are urgently cleaning and renovating traffic infrastructure, preparing to serve the increasing travel demand during the National Day holiday September 2.

Cleaning and renovation work is being urgently deployed despite heavy rain.
After completing the work at the Nguyen Trai - Khuat Duy Tien intersection, the group of workers continued to move to the access to Ring Road 3 expressway (Nguyen Xien street) to continue to carry out traffic infrastructure renovation work.
Heavy rain makes cleaning and maintenance work quite difficult. But we all try to complete our work well, so that the city has a beautiful appearance to welcome National Day September 2nd" - a male worker shared.

According to a representative of the Traffic Works Maintenance Board (Hanoi Department of Construction), proactively reviewing and renovating the traffic infrastructure system before the September 2nd holiday is very necessary, because the demand for travel and transportation of passengers and goods in the area is expected to increase.
We not only focus on ensuring smooth traffic but also strengthening maintenance and hygiene, contributing to creating a spacious and beautiful urban appearance, especially on roads, gateway intersections and areas with large traffic volume," said the representative of the Maintenance Board.

Along with sanitation and renovation work, the Maintenance Board also requested units to promptly review and repair damaged road surfaces; supplement signs, paint markings, and warning equipment at intersections and road sections at risk of unsafety.
For projects under construction, the Maintenance Board requests investors and contractors to speed up progress, and at the same time clear the construction site during holidays, gather machinery in the right places, transport soil, rocks, waste and arising materials, and not affect traffic.
