Duong Son flower village is one of the largest and oldest flower villages in Da Nang.
These days, dozens of households in Duong Son flower village (Hoa Xuan ward, Da Nang city) are busy planting and pruning branches and leaves, starting to enter the Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year flower crop.

"This year, the output of flower consumption is difficult, so my family only grows two types: daihoa chrysanthemum and crystal chrysanthemum. A few years ago, I invested in more than 1,000 pots, but this year the market is limited so I don't dare to grow much, in total, both types are less than 1,000 pots," said Ms. Tu Thi Sung, owner of the chrysanthemum garden in Duong Son flower village.

Ms. Sung added that the cost of seeds, fertilizers, and electricity is high, so this year's price may increase, depending on the size of the pot and the blooming of the flowers, there will be different prices.
In addition to traditional chrysanthemums, the people of Duong Son flower village also grow many other types of flowers such as marigolds, roses, money flowers, orchids, orchid hanging flowers... to serve the market in Da Nang and neighboring provinces.

On an area of over 3,500m2, Mr. Doan Van Trinh, the owner of the flower garden in Duong Son flower village, invests in growing main types of chrysanthemums such as dai ho, crystal chrysanthemum, and chrysanthemum of all kinds.
In addition, he also grows perilla, herbs and northern camellia flowers to diversify products to serve the Tet flower market.

"Growing Tet flowers must be prepared about 6 months in advance, and in early July, the planting for the Tet flower crop has begun. This year's weather is generally quite favorable, but the seeds are damaged by pests and diseases, so the investment cost is high, affecting the progress of flower care," said Mr. Trinh.
Currently, flower gardens in Duong Son flower village have simultaneously planted and cared for young plants, preparing for the 2026 Tet flower market.
