At the My Yen intersection construction site, the intersection of 3 key traffic axes including Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong, a series of construction teams are focusing all their efforts to work "all night". The goal is to bring the project to technical traffic on time on December 19.

Currently, the shape of this large-scale intersection has been clearly revealed. According to the Project Management Board, the workload of the entire intersection has reached about 87%. To meet the December 19 progress milestone, contractors are making the most of favorable weather, mobilizing total human resources and machinery to complete the final meters of asphalt pavement.
In the area of the arch-shaped bridge branch connecting Ring Road 3 to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, the rough part such as the bridge piers and concrete surface has been completed. The working groups are taking turns continuously to install railing and lighting systems and complete auxiliary items.

Right below the overpass of the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, the main section of Ring Road 3 hundreds of meters long is being paved continuously by wheelchairs and road users.
About 500 m from the central intersection, the bridge and Ring Road 3 parallel road system is also gradually reaching the finish line. Tan Buu overpass and the parallel bridge branch across Cho Dem river have completed the concrete bridge surface. Traffic safety items such as directional signs and road markings are being urgently installed at intersections.

According to the plan, on December 19, My Yen intersection will be technically open to traffic. The traffic organization plan is expected to allow cars from the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway to move down to the My Yen intersection to connect to Nguyen Huu Tri Street and vice versa.
At the same time, the section connecting Ring Road 3 and Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway (the section passing through the toll station at the end of the route) is also ready for vehicles to run.

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project has a total length of more than 76 km, passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh with a total investment of more than VND 75,300 billion. Meanwhile, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is over 57 km long, with an investment capital of over VND31,000 billion.
The completion and operation of the My Yen intersection not only has significance in terms of progress but also creates strategic regional linkages. When put into synchronous operation, this "super intersection" will close the traffic axis surrounding Ho Chi Minh City, reduce the pressure of vehicles running through the inner city, shorten travel time and logistics costs between the West and Southeast, creating momentum for a breakthrough for the Southern Key Economic Zone.
