Previously, at 7:30 a.m. the same day at Km77+960 in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong in An Khanh Commune - Hai Phong City, a collision occurred in the same direction between truck 29H-074xx and car 30K-358xx. After the collision, the truck in lane 3 and the car in lane 2 were severely damaged.
The collision injured 1 person, 3 people were slightly injured, and were taken to the emergency room. At the time of the incident, the road surface was guaranteed, signs, guardrails were complete and the weather was normal.
After the accident, many drivers said the highway was congested for a long time, many vehicles took hours to move through this area.
At 2:40 p.m. on August 23, the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway management and operation unit said that the traffic incident at 7:30 a.m. the same day had been handled by the authorities. At the scene, traffic returned to normal.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated and clarified.
