Sharing with Lao Dong newspaper reporter, Mr. Tuan Kim - the person who posted the clip recording the accident said that the incident happened at around 8:50 am on October 31, at H8 bridge area, KM6+58.66 DT417 (Hat Mon commune, Phuc Tho district, Hanoi).
"At that time, the group of people had just returned from a funeral and were walking across the bridge. At that time, a 7-seat car with license plate 30L-220.XX came out from the side road. When turning around, the car suddenly accelerated and crashed into the group of people," said Mr. Tuan Kim.
According to a quick report from the authorities, the accident occurred on the Hat Mon-Van Nam inter-commune road (section belonging to Village 6, Hat Mon, Phuc Tho). The car with license plate 30L-220.XX was driven by Mr. N.V.T (born in 1960, in Hat Mon, Phuc Tho, Hanoi).
Initial information, the accident caused one person to die on the spot. 3 other people were injured: Mr. N.N.B (born in 1972), Mr. N.L.S (born in 1986) and Ms. N.N.H.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the police force of Phuc Tho district and relevant agencies were present at the scene with local people to take the victim to the emergency room and at the same time investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
