4-car accident on Highway 14

Dak Nong – On National Highway 14, a traffic accident involving 4 cars just occurred, injuring one driver and damaging many vehicles.

On the morning of October 31, Mr. Tran Khac Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuan An Commune, Dak Mil District (Dak Nong) informed that a traffic accident involving 4 cars had just occurred in the commune, causing traffic congestion for a short time.

According to initial information, the tractor-trailer with license plate 47E-0.xxx driven by Mr. Pham Van Duong (born in 1985, residing in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province), moving in the direction of Dak Mil - Dak Song, when reaching Km1840, in Thuan An commune, Dak Mil district, suddenly hit the back of the tractor-trailer with license plate 51D-1.xxx driven by Mr. Le Thanh Tam (born in 1985, residing in Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province) in the opposite direction.

The strong collision damaged Mr. Tam's car and it stopped at the scene.

At this moment, a truck with license plate 47C-2xxx driven by Mr. Huynh Anh Phuc (born in 1992, residing in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province), moving in the same direction, continued to hit the back of Mr. Tam's car.

After the collision, Mr. Duong's tractor continued to move 40m and hit the left rear door of a car with license plate 47A-1xxx, driven by Mr. Nguyen Khoa Tien (born in 1985, residing in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak) in the direction of Dak Song - Dak Mil.

Not stopping there, the tractor continued to plunge down the embankment about 1 meter deep on the side of Highway 14. The accident caused damage to Mr. Tam, Mr. Phuc and Mr. Tien's vehicles.

Driver Pham Van Duong suffered a broken kneecap and was taken to Dak Mil District Medical Center by locals for emergency treatment.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to handle the situation, regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
