On the afternoon of May 26, the Southern Saigon Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) is coordinating with functional units to blockade the scene and investigate a traffic accident that occurred between a car and a motorbike on National Highway 51, passing through Ba Ria ward.
According to initial information, at about 2:30 PM on May 26, Ms. H.L. P (40 years old) was driving a car with license plate 60A-248. xx on National Highway 51, heading from Vung Tau to Ba Ria. When passing Co May bridge, the car collided with a motorbike traveling in the same direction. At the same time, the car driven by Ms. P also broke a headlight pole, then overturned on the side of the road.
The man driving the motorbike was injured and was quickly taken to the emergency room by people. The female driver driving the car was not injured but was trapped inside the car, and was helped out by people.
Currently, functional agencies are verifying and clarifying the cause of the accident to resolve it according to regulations.
