Cracking down on the cabin, promptly rescuing the driver who had an accident in Son La

Son La - On July 25, Son La Police said that functional forces had rescued the driver trapped in the cabin after an accident in Van Ho commune.

Accordingly, at about 10:30 pm on July 24, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 7, Fire and Rescue Police Department, Son La Provincial Police received a report about a traffic accident occurring on a 31m road, belonging to Sao Do 2 Sub-area, Van Ho commune.

The accident caused the truck driver to be trapped in the cabin and unable to escape on his own. Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces mobilized 2 fire trucks and 13 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with Van Ho Commune Police, authorities and local people to organize rescue.

At the time of rescue, it was raining, the road was slippery, making it difficult to access the scene. Through inspection, functional forces identified the victim as Mr. N.V.L. (born in 1988), residing in Hop Tien commune, Hanoi city; driving a truck with license plate 29H-10xxx, in the direction of Hanoi - Son La.

The car cabin was seriously deformed, the victim was trapped inside, with many scratches and signs of exhaustion. Rescue forces used specialized cutters and hydraulic cutters to dismantle the cabin.

After more than 1 hour, the victim was safely taken out and transferred to Van Ho Regional General Hospital (Van Ho facility) for emergency treatment.

The cause of the accident and property damage are being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
