The festival was organized by the People's Committee of Yen Tu Ward in coordination with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh Province, the Management Board of Monuments and Scenes, the Journalists Association, the Literature and Arts Association of Quang Ninh Province and Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company.
The festival is held in the context of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son relic complex, Kiep Bac, which has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (July 2025).
This is also a practical activity to successfully celebrate the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
The organization of the Autumn Festival is an act to concretize Resolution No. 12-NQ/DU dated September 23, 2025 of the Yen Tu Ward Party Committee on developing services, tourism, cultural industry, heritage economy associated with preserving and promoting the value of Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage.
The event affirmed the aspiration to make Yen Tu a leading national center for tourism - culture - ecology, striving to welcome 1.5 million visitors/year by 2030, with tourism revenue of over 1,000 billion VND.
Currently, Ha Long Bay is the only tourist destination in Quang Ninh with revenue of 1,000 billion VND/year.
In the sacred and bustling atmosphere, today, delegates and visitors will experience special activities: Dawn at the top of Dong Pagoda Tour, tea meditation, meditation; Art program to celebrate and honor the value of heritage; Awarding the Yen Tu Ward logo Creative Contest; Launching the Literary - Artistic - Communication - Compository Contest on Yen Tu; Launching VR360 tourism products on Yen Tu relic complex, Hang Son pagoda, Ho - Xap Bang mountain cave; National Day Prayer Ceremony and commemorative incense offering activities.
The Festival space also displays many photographic and painting works about Yen Tu; organizes folk games, experiences vegetarian cuisine and Thanh Y Dao cultural space.
From now until the end of December 2025, a series of cultural - sports - tourism activities will take place, including: Yen Tu Heritage Marathon - "Touching the heritage area" (15-16 November 2025); General Chess Tournament - " King Yen Tu"; Bonsai and Ornamental Plants Festival; Art programs "Yen Tu Music", commemorative ceremony of the 717th anniversary of the Lunar New Year of Phat Tran Nhan Tong.
