Dak Lak - Bui Vi Hao voluntarily handed over 6 rare turtle individuals to functional agencies to release back into the natural environment.

On January 13, Hoa My Commune People's Committee (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit had received 2 golden mountain turtles and 6 Sa Nhan turtles voluntarily handed over by Mr. Bui Vi Hao (residing in the area).

Previously, while working, Mr. Hao discovered 2 golden mountain turtles and 6 wild turtles on the roadside.

Through research in the media, Mr. Hao knew that this turtle species belongs to group IIB, which is a rare and endangered turtle species that needs to be protected. Therefore, he proactively contacted and handed over the above-mentioned turtle individuals to the People's Committee and Hoa My Commune Police.

After receiving, the Commune People's Committee coordinated with specialized agencies to check the health condition and make a receipt record. At the same time, carry out necessary procedures to rescue, care for, restore instinct, and wait for re-release to the natural environment.
