On November 28, Mr. Nguyen Van Do, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Xuan Commune (Dak Song District, Dak Nong) said that a newborn baby boy had just been found abandoned on the street.
Earlier, at around 6am the same day, some people exercising discovered a newborn baby boy abandoned on the side of the road, in village 1, Truong Xuan commune.
When discovered, the boy was wearing a yellow sweater and pink socks; there were no documents, objects or other valuables with him.
Immediately afterwards, people took the baby to Truong Xuan Commune Health Station and informed the local authorities.
Through examination, the baby boy is about 1.5 months old, weighs nearly 4kg, and is in normal health.
Currently, the People's Committee of Truong Xuan commune has issued a notice to find the child's relatives. If relatives cannot be found, the local government will carry out procedures for adoption according to regulations.
