Looking for relatives of abandoned girl at charity home

    Quang Tri - The baby abandoned in front of the shelter is a girl, about 1 month old.

    On November 19, the People's Committee of Ward 5 (Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province) confirmed that this unit is looking for relatives of an abandoned baby girl.

    Previously, at around 7pm on November 18, people discovered a baby girl wrapped in a towel in front of the gate of Lam Bich Charity Shelter (Ward 5, Dong Ha City). Next to it, there were the baby’s clothes, diapers, and milk, but no relatives.

    Through examination, the baby is about 1 month old, weighs 5.5 kg, and is in stable health.

    Currently, Lam Bich shelter is temporarily taking care of the baby.

    Ward 5 People's Committee announced that anyone who is the child's relative should come to the unit to work. In case no relative comes to receive the child, the authorities will carry out the procedures to handle it according to regulations.
