On the morning of June 9, some people exercising through Hong Van pumping station (Hong Van commune, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi) discovered the body of a young man hanging on a tree branch.
According to some witnesses, when they approached to check, they discovered that the victim had died, so they immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities were present at the scene to block off the area, examine the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.
Initially, the authorities determined that the victim may have committed suicide on the night of June 8. The victim did not have any identification documents, making it difficult to verify his identity and contact relatives.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Tran Quoc Bao - Chairman of Hong Van Commune People's Committee - confirmed the incident and said that the victim was about 30 years old, discovered early in the morning in a hanging position.
The local government is coordinating with the police force to investigate and clarify the cause of death, while urgently searching for relatives of the unfortunate person. The case is currently continuing to be verified and clarified.
