On June 4, implementing the direction of the People's Committee of Quoc Oai district, departments, branches and unions of Can Huu commune launched a campaign to enforce the implementation of remedial measures against 8 households illegally built on agricultural land and public land in the areas of Can Thuong and Dinh Tu villages.
In the 8 violations, there were 3 cases of illegal construction on agricultural land and 5 cases of illegal construction on public land. The main violations are corrugated iron fences, building surrounding walls, building solid roofs, and building houses.
Before organizing the enforcement, the commune government committee announced, organized a dialogue and mobilized people to overcome violations; at the same time, promoted propaganda work on the commune's broadcasting system; to each household to mobilize to dismantle the illegal construction and restore it to its original state.
As a result, some households voluntarily dismantled part of the construction, but it was not complete and in accordance with the commitment, the Commune People's Committee conducted mandatory enforcement of violations to strictly handle them.
At the enforcement session, the district's functional forces and Can Huu commune's associations and unions directly supervised and directed the enforcement work to ensure safety, speed, no complicated situations, and was highly appreciated by the public.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Huu Commune (Quoc Oai) said that strictly handling these violations aims to contribute to restoring discipline in land management and use; raising people's awareness of law compliance, gradually limiting land violations in the area.
