On the afternoon of August 10, Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital confirmed that it had just received and resuscitated a patient in a state of high fever, coma and with many abrasions on the body.
The patient is Mr. H.V.D (born in 1982, residing in Tang Co Hang village, Lia commune, Quang Tri province).
Previously, on the same morning, the People's Committee of Huong Hiep commune (Quang Tri province) received information that Mr. D went to work in the melaleuca forest area of Gia Gia village (Huong Hiep commune) from August 7 but then did not return home.
On the morning of August 10, people organized a search and discovered Mr. D lying dying in the forest. In this area, there are many buffalo footprints.
According to initial information from family members, the family suspects that Mr. D may have been gored by a buffalo, leading to injury.
Immediately after receiving the news, Huong Hiep Commune People's Committee contacted an ambulance to assist in taking the victim out of the forest area and transferring him to Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment.
The patient is being continuously monitored and cared for by doctors.
