Khanh Hoa - Field survey to search for martyrs' remains at Hon Heo mountain - a former revolutionary base, functional forces discovered many precious artifacts.

On August 9, news from the Military Command of Hoa Thang Ward (Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command) said that it is continuing to organize surveys of areas and locations suspected of having information about martyrs at Hon Heo mountain base.

This is a key activity to implement the Campaign "500 days and nights searching, gathering and identifying martyrs' remains".

Hon Heo mountain was once an important revolutionary base during the years of resistance.

Due to the rugged mountainous terrain, many locations are covered by forest trees and the impact of time, surveying work faces many difficulties.

Officers and soldiers on duty must overcome complex terrain, carefully check each cave, stream and suspicious points.

During the search, functional forces discovered many remaining artifacts such as household items, boxes, wooden stalls, information wires and some grenades.

lực lượng chức năng đã phát hiện nhiều di vật còn sót lại như vật dụng sinh hoạt, đồ hộp, sạp gỗ, đường dây thông tin và một số quả lựu đạn.

These artifacts not only reflect the arduous living and combat conditions of the soldiers in the past but are also valuable clues and information to serve the work of verifying, searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains.

To effectively deploy the survey work, the Military Command of Hoa Thang ward has closely coordinated with functional forces and local people - especially witnesses who lived and worked in this area during the war - to collect and compare accurate information.
