On March 16, Binh Thuan Ward Police (Lam Dong province) said that they had coordinated with functional forces to search and collect 1 105mm artillery shell in the area, ensuring safety.
Previously, Binh Thuan Ward Police received a report from Mr. Le Nhon Cho (born 1966, residing in Binh Thuan ward) about the discovery of an object resembling a firecracker while digging land for gardening in Phu Nhang neighborhood.

Immediately after discovering it, Mr. Cho proactively filled the ground, maintained the status quo and quickly reported to the Ward Police and the Military Command of Binh Thuan Ward for handling according to regulations.
Upon receiving information, local police and military forces were present at the scene, coordinating to implement safety measures. The area where explosives were detected was cordoned off, ropes were stretched, and warning flags were raised, limiting people's access.
At the same time, the case was reported to the Provincial Police and the Military Command of Lam Dong province for coordination and support in handling according to their authority.

Through inspection, functional forces identified the object as a 105mm artillery shell. The shell was then collected and processed according to technical procedures, ensuring absolute safety.
Local police recommend that when detecting objects suspected of being explosives, people should not arbitrarily move or impact them, and should quickly report to functional agencies for timely handling, avoiding the risk of unsafety.
