On June 2, information from Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate said that in May 2025, the entire Inspectorate of the province conducted 49 administrative inspections, issuing conclusions at 24 inspections, detecting violations of more than 16.2 billion VND.
Of which, the recommendation to recover VND 8.615 billion, the recommendation to handle other VND 7.6 billion; over VND 8.8 billion has been recovered.
The inspectors of departments and branches have conducted 3 specialized inspections in the fields of finance, education - training and justice. Thereby, 3 organizations and 2 individuals were discovered to have violated; 13 decisions were issued to sanction with a total amount of 135 million VND.
The whole industry has also conducted 11 inspections of public duties and head responsibilities at 11 units. Through the inspection, 6 conclusions were issued and recommendations were made to handle 5 individuals with violations.
Corruption prevention and control work continues to be strengthened, focusing on inspecting areas prone to negative incidents, urging the implementation of post-inspection conclusions, and tightening discipline and administrative discipline.
The Provincial Inspectorate also recommended handling the responsibility of leaders in cases of corruption, negativity or lack of proactiveness in detecting and preventing violations.
