On June 29, information from the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) of Lang Son Provincial Police said that the authorities had found the body of one of the two victims who fell into the water in the underground bridge area of Dong But village, Yen Binh commune, Huu Lung district.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 27, the two victims, father and son, were riding a bicycle across the underground bridge when they unfortunately struggled and fell into the rushing water.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police mobilized 3 specialized vehicles and 15 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to search all night.
According to initial verification by Yen Binh Commune Police, the two victims both reside in Tan Lap area, Huu Lung town, Huu Lung district.
After more than a day of searching, by the morning of June 29, the authorities had recovered the father's body, initially identifying him as Mr. D.H.T, born in 2019.
Currently, the search for the remaining victim is still being urgently deployed.
