Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phuc - Head of Cam Duong Ward Police said that the unit is coordinating with the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police to receive and protect the scene of the incident where people discovered a male dead at the foot of a bridge in Ngoi Duong stream, near the central bus station area of Lao Cai province.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Phuc, the victim was identified as Son (born in 1987, residing in the old Duyen Hai ward), a person who often wandered around, showed signs of unstable psychology and alcohol addiction.
The victim's family was present, confirmed the identity and said that this person had no previous conflicts with anyone.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police is presiding over the investigation, coordinating with relevant units and forensic agencies to conduct an autopsy and clarify the cause.
