The common goal in the new term 2025-2030 is to build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; maximize potential and advantages, mobilize and effectively use resources for socio-economic development; strengthen foreign affairs and international integration; coordinate the implementation of propaganda, mobilization and successfully organize tasks to serve the 2027 APEC Conference in Phu Quoc. Strive to build Phu Quoc into an international ecological, resort and innovation center.
According to Phu Quoc Special Party Secretary Le Quoc Anh, to successfully implement policies and guidelines, Phu Quoc closely and synchronously deploys strategic tasks, in which socio-economic development and environmental protection are the center; Party building is the key; cultural and human development is the foundation; ensuring national defense, security, and foreign affairs is important and regular.
Develop the special zone in a green, digital and deeply integrated direction, taking digital transformation, circular economy, and marine economy as the driving force for growth model innovation. Organize and arrange development space to ensure the promotion of Phu Quoc's strategic position with An Giang province and the Mekong Delta; closely combine socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security; political stability, social order and safety.

Phu Quoc proposes solutions, unblock, use effectively and mobilize all resources to build Phu Quoc special zone into a high-quality tourism, ecological service center, sea and island tourism of national and international scale.
Promote the development of key economic sectors: marine economy, services, tourism, processing industry, high value-added products; prioritize the development of cultural industries with typical marine tourism products, closely link Phu Quoc cuisine in economic development and identity towards building into national and ASEAN intangible cultural heritage.
Promote the creation of new development spaces, make the most of Phu Quoc's unique potential and advantages; strive to reclaim land to create artificial island clusters in the north, east and southwest with an area of about 1,500 hectares.
Focus on coordinating with relevant departments and agencies in preparing infrastructure conditions to serve the successful organization of the 2027 APEC Conference in Phu Quoc. Launching the entire political system, each person and business community in the special zone must unite and join hands to participate in serving and best preparing for the APEC Conference with the motto "each Phu Quoc person is a tourism ambassador".
