These days, along with the whole country, neighborhoods and polling areas in Phu Quoc special zone (An Giang) have been and are urgently preparing for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels, term 2026–2031. The goal is to ensure that the election day truly becomes a festival for the whole people, taking place democratically, in accordance with the law and safely.
In Phu Quoc special zone, 63 polling stations are organized, including 54 polling stations in 51 neighborhoods and 9 separate polling stations in armed forces units stationed in the area.
To prepare for the March 15 election day, voter lists have been publicly posted at neighborhood headquarters and convenient locations for people to monitor and check. Cases of missing names or information errors are promptly reflected and adjusted, ensuring citizens' voting rights.

Mr. Vuong Van Quang - Secretary of the Party cell, Head of the People's Committee of Cua Lap Duong To neighborhood, informed: "Currently, the work in the neighborhood continues to propagate to people about the meaning of the election, the form of Zalo group propaganda. The loudspeaker propaganda form will be implemented along the main road, small alleys to the place to broadcast so that people can hear and understand the content of the election.
Reviewing voter lists is also one of the important stages, which is decisive for the success of the election. Phu Quoc is a locality with a constantly changing population due to labor from all over coming to work, and the situation of immigration and migration is also constantly changing. Neighborhoods have focused on checking and comparing voter information according to each residential area, ensuring correct and complete recording, without omitting or duplicating voter names, especially for cases of temporary residence, moving in, moving out or changing residence. Voter lists after review are publicly posted for people to monitor, check and promptly reflect arising errors.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Han - Secretary of the Party cell, Head of the People's Committee of Suoi Da Duong To neighborhood, said: "Currently, the most important thing is to verify the list of voters accurately because some voters of the neighborhood have left the area, they are imported but there are no people here, it is mandatory to re-verify. Besides, the neighborhood is working with the local police as well as forces to go down to each group to make residential lists, which is the basis for later making accurate voter lists".
Following the listing of voters, neighborhoods and levels, sectors of Phu Quoc special zone continue to promote propaganda about the election in many forms suitable to the local reality, such as through the loudspeaker system, community pages and groups, neighborhood Zalo, self-managed people's groups, combined with direct propaganda in residential areas and in meetings and mass activities.
With urgent and thorough preparation, Phu Quoc is determined to ensure that the election day takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely, thereby affirming the important meaning of the election, for voters to exercise their right to mastery, selecting typical delegates, representing the will and aspirations of the People.
