Implementing the Deputy Prime Minister's direction on the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day
On August 18, the Hanoi People's Committee issued an official dispatch on the implementation of the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh at the meeting of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Heads of the Departments and branches: Culture and Sports, Tourism, Health, Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, City Police, Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and Dong Anh District People's Committee to continue directing the implementation of the tasks assigned by the City People's Committee.
The Hanoi People's Committee requires maximum mobilization of human resources, organizing 24/7 implementation with a spirit of urgency and determination, completing on schedule.
In particular, units need to focus on carefully reviewing and submitting to competent authorities for appraisal and approval of the exhibition content, ensuring the quality, honesty, meaning and importance of the event; at the same time, taking full responsibility for the images, information, documents and artifacts displayed in accordance with the direction of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Regarding traffic safety, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of Hanoi City Police to develop a plan to organize traffic, divert traffic, and route allocation optimally, ensuring smooth traffic, while ensuring security and safety for people and visitors to the exhibition.
Directors of the Departments of Industry and Trade and Construction are assigned to direct Hanoi Power Corporation, Hanoi Clean Water Company and related units to ensure adequate and continuous supply of electricity and water; at the same time, develop a backup plan to promptly handle incidents, avoid interruptions during the construction process and organize the exhibition.
Ensuring traffic safety during the exhibition
Ensuring traffic safety during the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day on September 2 was also issued by the Hanoi People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 4627 dated August 16.
Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to develop and organize a plan for traffic flow, route allocation, and regulation.
Functional forces will be deployed regularly to guide, regulate and control traffic throughout the activities.
The City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Construction to preside over the survey and develop a traffic organization plan, including placing signs, painting road markings, arranging traffic lights, parking areas and other support measures in the event area.
At the same time, research and supplement and increase bus routes to serve people and tourists in accordance with the instructions.
