Chanh Phu Hoa Ward proposes not to include the ward in the merger plan

Ho Chi Minh City - The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Chanh Phu Hoa ward unanimously proposed not to include the ward in the plan of merging or adjusting administrative boundaries.

On August 26, according to the People's Committee of Chanh Phu Hoa ward, the Executive Committee of the Ward Party Committee has unanimously proposed to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to consider and approve the policy of keeping the administrative unit of Chanh Phu Hoa ward, not including the ward in the merger plan or adjusting administrative boundaries.

It is known that Chanh Phu Hoa ward was established on the basis of merging 2 units (Chanh Phu Hoa ward and Hung Hoa commune) with a total natural area of 69.543 km2. Chanh Phu Hoa ward has 15 neighborhoods with 69,656 people.

Chanh Phu Hoa Ward has a part of My Phuoc 3 industrial park, near VSIP II industrial park, Tan Binh industrial park. In the ward, there are 3 major roads passing through, including My Phuoc - Tan Van with 10 lanes, NE2 with 10 lanes, DT 741 with 6 lanes. This is a locality that is developing, attracting businesses and labor.

According to assessments, Chanh Phu Hoa ward has a diverse economic structure, interspersed between urban, industrial, commercial, service and agricultural production. There are currently over 421 businesses and over 2,000 business households in the area.

After a year of operating the 2-level local government model, the ward's apparatus has gradually stabilized, operated smoothly, and the socio-economic, defense, and security development situation has been maintained. In addition, the ward also faces some difficulties such as: the number of staff, assigned funds, and lack of facilities.
