On the afternoon of September 17, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang had a working session with Binh Duong ward.
Before the meeting, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang and the working delegation visited the Binh Duong Ward Public Administration Service Center.
Here, Mr. Tran Luu Quang directly visited and talked with people coming to complete procedures and listen to opinions on the quality of administrative file settlement.

According to the report, from July 1 to now, the center has received more than 16,710 records, returned 16,251 records, the rest are still within the processing period. In addition, the center also organized 10 working sessions on Saturday morning, receiving an additional 765 applications.
Binh Duong ward has an area of over 58 km2 and a population of over 107,700 people, established from the merger of Hoa Phu, Phu My, Phu Tan wards (formerly part of Thu Dau Mot city) and Phu Chanh ward (formerly part of Tan Uyen city).
Since its establishment, Binh Duong ward has implemented many models near the people, notably "Bright Coffee - People-to-People Exchange". Up to now, there have been 45 meetings, attracting more than 1,000 people to attend, helping the government promptly grasp the concerns and remove arising problems.

At the meeting, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang assessed that Binh Duong ward has many characteristics and development potential when it owns up to 75% of the area in the Binh Duong Industrial - Urban - Service Complex.
Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that when making recommendations, ward leaders and units should go straight to the center, not go around; at the same time, there must be a vision not only for the development of the locality but also contribute to the general development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Binh Duong Ward People's Council Nguyen Van Dong said that the whole ward currently has 7 industrial parks, 2 industrial clusters, more than 5,200 enterprises and production and business establishments, causing great pressure on immigrant population, security, order and social infrastructure.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, the ward is facing pressure to lack schools for children of workers and laborers.
Binh Duong Ward recommends that the city soon allocate capital to build 3 more schools, and at the same time support the equipment of patrol vehicles for the grassroots police force.
In addition, the ward also proposed that the city soon issue a policy for land use planning and synchronous urban planning, creating room for green, sustainable and modern development.
