On August 15, the first Phan Dinh Phung Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term took place with the participation of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung and leaders of agencies and units.
Also attending were representatives of the Central Organizing Committee, former Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Thai Nguyen City Party Committee through the periods; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and 230 official delegates.
Phan Dinh Phung ward was established on the basis of merging administrative units including Trung Vuong, Tuc Duyen, Dong Quang, Quang Trung, Hoang Van Thu, Tan Thinh and part of Gia Sang ward.
After the merger, the ward has more than 121,500 people, 110 residential groups and over 11,290 party members. The central location helps the ward play an important role in the development orientation of Thai Nguyen province.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the Congress focused on evaluating the results of the 2020 - 2025 term and determining the direction and goals for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The discussion and agreement contents all aim to build a civilized, modern, rapid and sustainable urban area, while improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The Congress affirmed the determination of the entire Party Committee in promoting potential and advantages, mobilizing resources to successfully implement the targets set in the new term.
