The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has just issued Plan No. 13 on coordinating the organization of citizen reception for Party congresses at all levels, the 14th National Congress of the Party and the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office (Provincial Citizen Reception Committee) to develop a plan to receive citizens at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office during the holding of Party congresses at all levels and elect National Assembly deputies for the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The Provincial People's Committee Office acts as a unit to coordinate with departments, branches, localities, especially the police agency to grasp the situation of complaints and denunciations of citizens to promptly recommend competent authorities to handle them thoroughly, not to let "hot spots" arise.
The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province requires sectors and localities to review cases that may generate many and complicated complaints and denunciations to promptly handle them, not to let them exceed the level or prolong them.
Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards, especially the police force, are required to proactively grasp the situation, develop plans to ensure security and order, and promptly handle situations arising at the grassroots level.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the total number of citizen visits by administrative agencies in Thai Nguyen province (before the merger) was 2,464 people, down 2.2% over the same period in 2024. Recorded 20 large groups, an increase of 8 groups compared to the same period in 2024.
Meanwhile, in Bac Kan province (before the merger), the total number of citizen visits by administrative agencies in the area was 285 people, down 6.9% over the same period in 2024. There were no large groups.
