Citizen reception schedule of the Minister of Home Affairs in 2025

The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued the latest announcement on receiving citizens in 2025.

The Ministry of Home Affairs conducts citizen reception at the Citizen Reception Office, No. 2 Dinh Le, Trang Tien Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City.

Citizen reception time in the morning: From 8:30 to 11:00, afternoon: From 13:30 to 16:00.

The Ministry of Home Affairs organizes regular citizen receptions on all days of the week, except for weekdays and holidays as prescribed.

This is done by the Citizen Reception, petition Processing and Internal Audit Department under the Inspectorate.

Notably, the Minister of Home Affairs receives citizens periodically on the 20th of each month. If the 20th of each month coincides with a weekly holiday or holiday, the reception of citizens will be carried out on the first working day after the holiday.

In addition to receiving citizens periodically, the leaders of the Ministry organize surprise citizen receptions according to the law.

Previously, according to Decision No. 456/QD-BNV issued in 2023, the Minister of Home Affairs will forward complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections to individuals or units under or directly under the Ministry according to their functions and tasks in case the Minister receives the petition.

The Minister of Home Affairs can also assign Deputy Ministers, direct units to handle petitions, complaints, denunciations, and reflections according to legal regulations. Re-examine administrative decisions, administrative acts, disciplinary decisions against civil servants and public employees, and those under the direct management of the person responsible for the decision.

Proceeding with verification, assigning the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Home Affairs or individuals or affiliated units to be responsible for verifying the content of complaints and recommending the settlement of complaints according to the provisions of the Law on Complaints and Decree 124/2020 of the Government.
