The project to renovate the landscape of Ho Dong Can Park and the flower garden and green tree area near the Provincial Party Committee was approved according to Decision No. 1229/QD-UBND dated December 22, 2025 of Viet Tri Ward People's Committee.
This project has a total investment of more than 42 billion VND invested by the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board. In which, Package No. 03: Construction and installation of the project is priced at nearly 34 billion VND.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board recently issued a decision approving the contractor selection results for the above-mentioned construction package.
According to the decision, Tu Lap Construction Co., Ltd. is the winning bidder with a price of nearly 33.7 billion VND. The implementation time of the bidding package is 360 days.
Thus, the above-mentioned contractor will officially deploy the renovation of the landscape of Dong Can Lake park and the flower garden and green tree area near the Provincial Party Committee in the central area of Viet Tri ward.
According to the project dossier, for the Dong Can Lake area, the contractor will move the existing green trees and replant all the trees adjacent to Tran Phu street and Nguyen Tat Thanh street.
Demolish 6 existing flower beds and the stone-paved yard area west of the land. Repave the stone to expand the centralized yard.
Removing 3 current stone paved sidewalk positions, newly designing the foundation with cement concrete combined with surface polishing and arranging the installation of exercise machines.
Add 2 more walking paths from the sidewalk of Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the lake; repair some locations of walking paths and concentrated yards that are currently damaged.
Designing stainless steel fences on the side adjacent to alley 23B Tran Phu (section from the current pumping station to Nguyen Tat Thanh street).
Scrape and repaint the entire landscape iron bridge and iron railings in the lotus flower pedestal area west of the land.
This item is also designed with a system of decorative lights illuminating the lake, walking paths and tree lights.
For the small lake area adjacent to Dong Can Lake, the contractor will construct embankments to renovate the lakebed and sidewalks running around; newly design surface water and wastewater collection ditches around the lake; design lighting systems and plant trees around the lake.
For the flower garden adjacent to the Provincial Party Committee, the contractor will lower the current stage podium by 3 steps and design to expand the stage podium face forward.
Along with that, dismantling 8 existing decorative light poles around the centralized yard; planting more green trees in the flower garden; designing a system of decorative lights to illuminate walkways and tree lights.
According to the investor, the project is invested with the goal of improving the quality of life, improving the environment, preserving and promoting cultural values, and at the same time enhancing economic value.
In parallel with that, the renovation of the lake and flower garden area helps create a harmonious green space, beautify the landscape, support water regulation, reduce the urban heat island effect and attract tourism and investment, contributing to the socio-economic and cultural development of Viet Tri ward.
