Viet Tri ward, Phu Tho province was established on the basis of merging the natural area and population of the wards: Gia Cam, Tan Dan, Minh Nong, Duu Lau and Trung Vuong commune of Viet Tri city in the past.
Over the past time, Viet Tri ward has implemented the selection of construction contractors for a large public investment project, with a total investment of up to tens of billions of VND.
Notably, there is the project of Lighting, decoration, and fountain system in Hung Vuong Square area - with a total investment of 85 billion VND.

Or most recently (early June 2026) is the project to renovate the landscape of Dong Can Lake park and the flower garden and green tree area near the Provincial Party Committee - with a total investment of more than 42 billion VND.
Regarding education investment, on May 22, the 3-story classroom project, 18 rooms of Gia Cam Primary School in Viet Tri ward (total investment of 16 billion VND) selected a construction contractor.
For the 4-story classroom project with 20 rooms and auxiliary items of Van Lang Secondary School - approved by Viet Tri Ward People's Committee from December 22, 2025, according to Decision No. 1237/QD-UBND.
This is a project belonging to Group C, with a total investment of nearly 20 billion VND (19,999,991,000 VND) invested by the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board.
According to the reporter's investigation, on June 5, the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board issued a notice inviting bids for "Package No. 05: Construction and installation of works" of the project.
Package No. 05 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 17.8 billion VND from the budget of Viet Tri ward and mobilized from other legal capital sources.

In the near future, after the above-mentioned construction package completes the contractor selection work, the construction unit will deploy the package with the following main tasks:
First of all, the construction unit proceeds to demolish the 3-story classroom building, which is currently degraded.
After that, build a new 4-story classroom building, with a corridor in front of the house, 1 main hall located in the center and 2 auxiliary entrances on both sides.
This project has a total height of 17,550m, invested in a synchronous power supply, water supply, and drainage system; the equipment system will also be installed to serve the school's learning and teaching.
Along with that, build a pump house with a height to the roof floor of 3m, a top height of 4m; roof covered with heat-resistant corrugated iron; fire prevention and fighting water tank; reinforced concrete beams and bracing combined with tank surface panels; fire prevention and fighting system and other items to ensure synchronization.
Some auxiliary items include: Re-paving the foundation of the construction area with terrazzo brick with an area of 680m2; pouring concrete yard around the house; building additional drainage ditches.
The project is invested with the goal of adding classrooms, functional rooms, reducing pressure on working and teaching space, creating a favorable learning environment, encouraging creativity and improving the quality of students' learning.
At the same time, contributing to completing education infrastructure, creating a foundation for improving management efficiency and training quality in the coming years.
