The project "Renovation of Dong Le ecological lake, Ha Lieu area and Quang Trung area, Viet Tri ward, Phu Tho province" was approved by the People's Committee of Viet Tri ward from December 22, 2025 according to Decision No. 1228/QD-UBND.
This is a project belonging to Group C, with a total investment of 59 billion VND invested by the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Viet Tri Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board has recently issued a bidding invitation notice for Package No. 07: Construction of the project.
Package No. 7 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 42.9 billion VND from the budget of Phu Tho province, Viet Tri ward budget and mobilizing other legal support capital sources.
In the near future, after having the contractor selection results, the winning bidder will deploy construction of the project, ensuring traffic safety.
According to the project dossier, the main construction investment scale is as follows:
The project construction area is about 2.8ha on an area mainly of agricultural land (reservoir), part of which is the existing traffic road.
Technical infrastructure items such as leveling, roads, sidewalks, green trees, water supply and drainage systems, electricity supply, and lighting are built synchronously.
Regarding the traffic road system, the road surface is paved with asphalt concrete to ensure creating convenient travel spaces in the project, ensuring high aesthetic elements.
Overall, there are 4 traffic routes (442.84m long, 234.18m long, 156.92m long, 83.47m long; total about 917m) and 1 lake embankment line 544.50m long.
Along with that, the project builds planters and green strips to create aesthetic shapes on the sidewalks, creating shade and landscape for the entire area.
At the same time, build a system of drainage culverts and ditches combined with manholes to ensure drainage and avoid flooding.
The project also builds a low-voltage power system to supply electricity to new residential areas, a lighting system along the roads to ensure aesthetics, and all spaces are lighting up.
The completion deadline for the bidding package is 360 days from the date of signing the contract.
According to the investor, the project is invested to improve the quality of life, improve the environment, and at the same time increase economic value.
Renovation of the lake and traffic roads around the lake helps create a harmonious green space, beautify the landscape, support water regulation, reduce the urban heat island effect and attract tourism and investment, contributing to the socio-economic and cultural development of Viet Tri ward.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported in early June 2026, Viet Tri ward has also just implemented the project "Improving the landscape of Dong Can Lake park and the flower garden and green tree area near the Provincial Party Committee".
The above project has a total investment of more than 42 billion VND. In which, Package No. 03: Construction and installation of the project is priced at nearly 34 billion VND and is currently in the process of contractor selection.
