On January 10, in Suoi Hiep commune, Khanh Hoa province, the Navy Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province and Military Region 5 to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of houses to 10 households affected by floods, within the framework of the "Quang Trung Campaign".
After more than a month of implementation with a spirit of urgency, responsibility and military-civilian solidarity, Military Region 5 has coordinated with units stationed in the area and local Party committees and authorities to organize new construction and repair of houses for households in disaster-affected areas.


As a result, the entire campaign started construction of 610 new houses and repaired 314 damaged houses.
To date, all 314 repaired houses have been completed; 610/610 newly built houses have been handed over to households according to the set schedule.
In Khanh Hoa province alone, 70 new houses have been built, directly constructed by units of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, Naval Region 4 (Navy Service) and Special Forces Brigade 5.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee and representatives of agencies, units and localities presented symbolic signs of house handover, and at the same time presented many practical gifts to 10 households in Suoi Hiep, Cam Hiep, Nam Khanh Vinh, Khanh Vinh communes and Nam Nha Trang ward.
On the same day, the Regional Defense Command Boards in Khanh Hoa province coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and military units to simultaneously organize the inauguration ceremony and hand over the remaining 54 houses in the "Quang Trung Campaign" to households affected by floods.
Previously, on January 4, units and localities organized the handover of 6 houses to people in the province, contributing to soon stabilizing the lives of households affected by natural disasters.
