Hoan Kiem District:
According to the plan, Hoan Kiem district will establish 2 basic administrative units: Hoan Kiem and Cua Nam.
Hoan Kiem Administrative Administrative unit includes the entire area and population of the wards: Hang Ma, Hang Bo, Hang Dao, Hang Silver, Hang Buom, Hang Gai, Ly Thai To (Hoan Kiem); Most of the natural area and population of wards: Dong Xuan, Trang Tien, Cua Dong, Hang Bong and Hang Trong (Hoan Kiem); Part of the natural area and population of the wards: Cua Nam (Hoan Kiem), Dien Bien (Ba Dinh).
For the Cua Nam grassroots administrative unit, it includes the entire area and population of the wards: Tran Hung Dao, Hang Bai, Phan Chu Trinh (Hoan Kiem); most of the natural area and population of Cua Nam ward (Hoan Kiem); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Hang Bong, Hang Trong, Trang Tien (Hoan Kiem); Pham Dinh Ho, Nguyen Du (Hai Ba Trung).
In particular, Chuong Duong and Phuc Tan wards (Hoan Kiem district) are expected to merge with commune-level administrative units of other districts to form a new commune-level administrative unit.
Tay Ho District:
Tay Ho District plans to establish 2 basic administrative units including: Tay Ho and Phu Thuong.
The Tay Ho administrative unit includes the entire area and population of the wards: Buoi (Tay Ho); most of the natural area and population of the wards: Thuy Khue, Xuan La, Quang An (Tay Ho); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Phu Thuong, Nhat Tan, Tu Lien, Yen Phu (Tay Ho); Nghia Do (Cau Giay).
Phu Thuong administrative unit includes most of the natural area and population of Phu Thuong ward (Tay Ho); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Xuan La (Tay Ho), Xuan Tao, Dong Ngac, Xuan Dinh (Bac Tu Liem).
A part of the natural area and population of Phu Thuong, Nhat Tan, Quang An, Tu Lien, Yen Phu wards will be transferred to the current Hong Ha administrative unit.
Nam Tu Liem District:
After the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, it is expected that Nam Tu Liem district will have 4 more wards on the basis of the arrangement of 10 current wards.
It is expected that the 4 wards after the arrangement will be: Tu Liem, Tay Mo, Dai Mo and Xuan Phuong.
Thanh Xuan District:
Thanh Xuan District plans to arrange 11 wards into 3 wards including Thanh Xuan, Khuong Dinh, Phuong Liet.
Bac Tu Liem District:
Bac Tu Liem District plans to have 5 more wards after the arrangement.
The Bac Tu Liem 1 administrative unit (Tay Tuu ward) includes most of the natural area and population of the wards: Tay Tuu, Minh Khai (Bac Tu Liem), part of the natural area and population of Kim Chung commune (Hoai Duc).
The administrative unit of Bac Tu Liem 2 (Phu Dien ward) includes the entire area and population of the wards: Phuc Dien, Phu Dien (Bac Tu Liem), most of the natural area and population of Mai Dich ward (Cau Giay district), part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1 ward (Bac Tu Liem district).
The Bac Tu Liem 3 administrative unit (Xuan Dinh ward) includes most of the natural area and population of the wards: Xuan Tao, Xuan Dinh (Bac Tu Liem), Xuan La (Tay Ho), part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 1, Co Nhue 2 wards (Bac Tu Liem).
The Bac Tu Liem 4 administrative unit (Dong Ngac ward) includes the entire area and population of Duc Thang ward, most of the natural area and population of the wards: Dong Ngac, Co Nhue 2, Xuan Dinh, Thuy Phuong, Minh Khai (Bac Tu Liem district).
The Bac Tu Liem 5 administrative unit (Thuong Cat ward) includes the entire area and population of the wards: Thuong Cat, Lien Mac, Thuy Phuong (Bac Tu Liem district), part of the natural area and population of Co Nhue 2, Minh Khai, Tay Tuu wards (Bac Tu Liem district).
