On January 4, the Military Region 5 Command coordinated with the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to organize the handover of houses in the "Quang Trung Campaign" to Ms. Le Thi Hoa's household (An Hoa 2 hamlet, Tuy Phuoc Tay commune) and presented gifts to 20 families supported by the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command to rebuild new houses, handed over in phase 1.
Mrs. Hoa's house collapsed due to storm No. 13 and was directly supported by officers and soldiers of the 6th Regional Defense Command - An Nhon Dong (Gia Lai Provincial Military Command).

The house has an area of 50m2, solid, spacious, with a total value of 170 million VND, from support from the province, locality, philanthropists and family contributions.
At the handover ceremony, Major General Tran Minh Trong - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5 - said that implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign", the Military Region Command has thoroughly grasped and implemented "doing it immediately, quickly, on schedule, with effective quality", considering helping people rebuild new houses and repair damaged houses due to storms and floods as "a command from the heart".

Military Region 5 has established 610 construction teams, 314 house repair teams with a total force of 148,189 officers and soldiers, supporting the construction of 402 houses. Units of the Ministry of National Defense also undertake to build 188 houses for the people.

Military Region 5 Command is determined to complete the entire support for people to build new houses by January 10," Major General Tran Minh Trong emphasized.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that with the spirit of "serving the people", officers and soldiers of military units, regardless of difficulties, directly participate from surveying, organizing forces to construction, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and consolidate their trust in the Party, State and Army.

On this occasion, the Command of Military Region 5, Gia Lai province and the Provincial Military Command presented many meaningful gifts to families who were handed over new houses.
