On December 26, information from the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee said that it had proposed a plan to streamline the organizational structure. The province would stop supporting operating expenses from the budget of 20 associations.
The province will maintain three associations, including the Business Association, the Youth Union, and the Gardening Association. These associations will be assigned staff and supported with operating expenses. It is expected that by 2026, staff and operating expenses will not be assigned.
For now, keep 14 Associations: Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, Lawyers Association, Association for Promotion of Education, Association for the Elderly, Association of Oriental Medicine, Association of Journalists, Association of Literature and Arts; Association of Former Youth Volunteers, Cooperative Alliance; Red Cross, Blind People, Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, Support for the Disabled and Orphans. These Associations will be arranged when the Central Associations have directions.
In 2026, the province will not support operating costs for 20 associations: Former Teachers, Cultural Heritage, Accounting and Auditing, Ornamental Plants, Aquaculture, Medicine, Midwives, Sponsorship of Poor Patients, For the Development of People with Disabilities, Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers in 1972, Vietnam - Russia Friendship, Vietnam - Thailand Friendship, Vietnam - Germany Friendship, Vietnam - Laos Friendship, Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship, Vovinam - Viet Vo Dao Federation, Karate Federation, Table Tennis Federation, Bar Association.
