On October 14, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Tax Department Ngo Van Thuan said that the unit has organized interdisciplinary working groups to grasp the situation at large debt units; at the same time, it has directed to resolutely apply debt management and tax debt enforcement measures, and strengthen the application of temporary exit suspension measures.
In the first 9 months of 2024, the Tax Department of Quang Binh province issued 385,455 notices to urge tax debt collection, issued 810 enforcement decisions, with a total enforcement amount of over 7,620 billion VND.
Of which, enforcement by account deduction was in 592 cases, enforcement by notification of invalid invoices was in 209 cases.
As of September 30, 2024, the Quang Binh Tax Department has collected over 1,063 billion VND in arrears (709 billion VND collected by debt management measures, 354 billion VND collected by tax debt enforcement measures); of which 628 billion VND was collected from tax arrears from the previous year.
Mr. Thuan added that in the coming time, the Tax sector will continue to closely coordinate with local authorities and related sectors in recovering tax arrears. In particular, handling and recovering arrears related to land and mineral exploitation rights fees.
