On October 8, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province announced that it had just reported on anti-corruption work to serve the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Notably, from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, in the province, there were 212 cases of civil servants, public employees, and employees having to change their work positions to prevent corruption; 190 cases of civil servants, public employees, and employees were changed their work positions to prevent corruption.
During this period, the province has organized and implemented 57 inspections of the responsibility for implementing the law on anti-corruption and negativity. Through inspections, recommendations were made to handle violations in the management and implementation of the law on anti-corruption and negativity for 14 groups and 40 individuals.
Mr. Le Van Dung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - assessed that in recent times, the work of anti-corruption and negativity has been directed by the Provincial People's Committee resolutely, with strong progress, achieving many comprehensive and clear results; corruption is being gradually controlled, prevented, pushed back, with a tendency to decrease, creating positive effects, spreading strongly throughout society, contributing to maintaining political stability, socio-economic development, and strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people.
