According to Mr. Nham Xuan Sy, on June 2, the highest temperature in Quang Ngai City reached 39.6 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of 40%. On June 3, the highest temperature in Ba To was 37.3 degrees Celsius, humidity was 50%.
It is forecasted that on June 4, the hot weather is likely to decrease in both range and intensity, only appearing locally with the highest temperature commonly from 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, the lowest humidity ranging from 55% to 65%.
It is expected that on June 5, the temperature will decrease significantly compared to previous days.
During hot days, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. During thunderstorms, there will be tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind, especially in mountainous areas.
In the next 72 to 120 hours, widespread hot weather is unlikely to occur in Quang Ngai province.
Due to the influence of hot weather combined with low humidity in the air, the risk of fire and explosion in residential areas is very high due to the sharp increase in electricity demand. At the same time, people need to be on guard against the risk of forest fires. In addition, hot weather can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and stroke due to heat stroke, especially for people who are exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
