On August 26, Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee, Quang Ngai province informed that Mr. Pham Quoc Vuong - Chairman of Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee met, praised and unexpectedly rewarded the My Khe Sea Management Team for promptly rescuing 5 students who encountered incidents while swimming in the sea.
Previously, at about 4:40 pm on August 23, 2026, a group of 11 students from Tran Quoc Tuan High School while swimming in My Khe beach unfortunately fell into a deep ditch with a current near the shore. Among these, 6 students swam ashore on their own, and the remaining 5 students encountered difficulties and sent out a distress signal.
Immediately after receiving the signal, My Khe Sea Management Team quickly deployed forces, approached the dangerous area and organized rescue, bringing all 5 students ashore safely.
At the meeting, Mr. Pham Quoc Vuong - Chairman of Tinh Khe Commune People's Committee acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness and quick response of the members of My Khe Sea Management Team. In an emergency situation, the rescue force did not mind difficulties, promptly approached and brought the students ashore safely, contributing to preventing the risk of unfortunate consequences.
Mr. Pham Quoc Vuong assessed this as a practical action, showing a high sense of responsibility in performing the task of ensuring safety for people and tourists when swimming and playing at My Khe beach. At the same time, he requested the Sea Management Team to continue to strictly maintain duty, patrol, observation and proactively warn in areas at risk of deep currents and ditches; promptly handle arising situations, contributing to ensuring safety for people and tourists.
