It is known that out of 9 commune-level localities where the project passes through, there are currently 5 localities that have not completed site clearance, including the communes of Dinh Cuong, Lan Phong, Nguyen Nghiem, Khanh Cuong and Duc Pho ward with 14 locations, including some locations with long-term problems, but slow to resolve, affecting the overall progress of the project.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province suggested that investors and contractors coordinate with localities to organize dialogues with people and make clear commitments on the time frame for each specific case to both persuade on the basis of law and propagate so that people can understand clearly. Thereby, the problem of land clearance is completely eliminated.
The province will continue to direct relevant units to focus and completely resolve the problems and difficulties to hand over the remaining site of the project.
Must ensure people's consensus
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung emphasized: "The parties must focus highly, completely resolve the site, ensuring that the site problems must be completely resolved by October 15, 2025 at the latest so that the contractor can complete the project by the end of December 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung suggested that, to ensure the consensus of the people and ensure legal regulations during the appraisal and payment of support and compensation, investors and contractors need to develop a feasible plan, the date and time of appraisal, the date and time of payment, commit to progress, and commit to payment time points.
"Meeting to mobilize and propagate for people to hand over the site, without obstructing the construction, we must ensure the timeline, this week assess which houses and localities are specific and coordinate with local authorities to implement. Regarding construction work, Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung requested contractors and investors to speed up construction progress, especially in sections that are not entangled but the progress has not been met. Focus on completing each item on the construction site and disbursing and finalizing.
