On February 21, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province informed that it had just issued a decision to administratively sanction two young men living in Nghia Hanh district, Quang Ngai province for not complying with the military service order of the Commander of the Military Command of Nghia Hanh district.
These two young men, Bui Nhat H (27 years old) and Cao Viet D (26 years old), both residing in Hanh Thinh commune, Nghia Hanh district, with a total fine of 125 million VND.
At 6:30 a.m. on February 13, 2025, H and D were not present at 20.3 Park, Nghia Hanh District to hold the handover and receipt ceremony in 2025 according to the order of the Commander of the Nghia Hanh District Military Command. By the end of February 13, he was still absent without a legitimate reason.
The above behavior violated the provisions of Clause 3, Article 7, Decree 120/2012, amended and supplemented in Clause 9, Article 1 of Decree 37/2022 on a number of articles of the Decrees regulating administrative sanctions in the fields of national defense, security; management and protection of national borders; in the sea, islands and continental shelf of Vietnam.
For the above violation, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province decided to fine Bui Nhat H and Cao Viet D 62.5 million VND each. In addition to being fined, the two young men were also forced to perform military service. The deadline for implementing remedial measures is to implement the plan for selecting and calling citizens to join the army of competent authorities according to regulations.
