On July 1, Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee informed that on June 30, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee signed a Directive on rectifying working styles, strengthening discipline, administrative discipline and enhancing the responsibility of officials, civil servants, and public employees in the province.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, in the past time, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee have regularly directed the rectification of working styles and improved the responsibility of heads according to the Central Government's policy.

Thanks to that, discipline and administrative order have been gradually strengthened, many key tasks have been implemented to ensure quality, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management in the province.
However, the observance of discipline, administrative discipline and the implementation of the Working Regulations of the Provincial People's Committee in some agencies, units, and localities are not strict. The quality of advice is still limited, the progress of solving some tasks is still slow, there is still a situation of avoidance and shirking responsibility, and the issue of assigned functions and tasks has not been proactively handled.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Heads of departments, agencies, and branches of the province and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones - to resolutely overcome the situation of avoidance, shirking responsibility, working half-heartedly, and lacking decisiveness.
Ensure that administrative procedures are resolved on time, without prolonged delays and backlogs of dossiers. Consider the level of satisfaction of people and businesses as one of the important criteria for evaluating service quality.
Promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals who perform well in their tasks, strictly handle cases of violations, causing trouble, harassment or allowing prolonged work delays and backlogs to occur. Replace or propose replacements for cadres, civil servants, and public employees who are weak in capacity, evade, shirk responsibility, and do not meet task requirements.
For cadres, civil servants, and public employees - do not evade or shirk responsibility, ensure the quality and progress of handling assigned work.
Strictly comply with regulations on working hours, do not go late, return early or resolve personal matters during working hours.
Absolutely do not take advantage of positions and powers to cause difficulties, troubles, or harassment to organizations and individuals in the process of resolving work.
