According to the plan, before Tet, there will be 14 major activities, including events such as: Quang Ninh OCOP Fair - Spring 2025; Spring Flower Festival and Bonsai Exhibition; Trade Union Tet Market - Tet Sum Vay; Art program "Welcome Spring 2025"; Exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Fair, cultural space for Tet of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province; Spring Book and Newspaper Fair, and many other activities.
These events will contribute to creating an exciting, joyful atmosphere to welcome the nation's traditional New Year.
During and after Tet, Quang Ninh will also organize 6 events including: Spring art program to welcome New Year's Eve, fireworks display in 13/13 localities in the province, cultural activities, arts, sports, folk games on Tet, Spring At Ty opening ceremony, Tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho and Tet Nguyen Tieu Poetry Day.
These activities not only bring joy to the people but also create opportunities for tourists to enjoy the Tet atmosphere in Quang Ninh.
The province pays special attention to tourist service activities at major tourist areas and business establishments to welcome the first groups of visitors to Quang Ninh during Tet.
Tourist attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, service facilities, and entertainment areas will organize diverse activities, ensuring safety and impression.
Regarding social security work, according to the report of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Quang Ninh province plans to give over 213,500 gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, relatives, social policy beneficiaries and other necessary subjects.
The number of gifts increased by more than 6,800 compared to 2024, with a total cost of more than 120 billion VND from the provincial budget, an increase of 12.2 billion VND compared to the previous year.
It is expected that the gift giving will be completed before January 22, 2025 (December 23 of the Lunar calendar).
This is one of the important activities to ensure that everyone has a warm and full Tet holiday.
