On July 5, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 1 in the Mong Cai area.
In the Van Ninh port area, where some fishermen's boats drifted due to the storm, the Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Military Command to mobilize maximum forces and vehicles, coordinate with local authorities to support people to urgently salvage drifted boats, minimize property damage, and soon stabilize production activities.
Inspecting the work of overcoming the consequences after the storm, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong emphasized that localities need to continue to focus highly, mobilize the entire political system to urgently implement solutions to overcome damage.
In the immediate future, localities must ensure absolute safety for people, especially in areas at risk of landslides, flooding, affected by high tides and unfavorable weather factors.
Request functional units to urgently overcome electrical incidents; organize pruning and clearing fallen green trees; clear traffic jams, ensure smooth traffic, and create conditions for people to soon stabilize their lives and production.
Regarding the information reported by people that there are still 3 fishermen missing after the storm, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong requested functional agencies to urgently review and verify. Military forces, based on weather developments, mobilize ships, boats and appropriate vehicles to review water surface areas and search for missing fishermen.
Functional forces closely coordinate with local authorities to review the entire list of ships, crew members and cases that have not yet been contacted.
Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in all situations, the highest goal is to ensure the safety of people's lives. Forces need to maintain duty regimes, proactively respond to the next developments of storm circulation, and at the same time accelerate the progress of overcoming consequences so that people can soon stabilize their lives.
