According to information from the Co To Special Administrative Region, by late afternoon yesterday, there were still more than 2,800 tourists on Co To island, including foreign tourists, who wanted to stay on Co To island, Quang Ninh province during storm No. 1 preparing to make landfall.
Leaders of the Co To Special Zone have inspected tourism facilities, directly met, visited and encouraged the spirit of a large number of tourists staying on the island; assigned accommodation facilities and functional agencies to serve thoughtfully, ensuring absolute safety for passengers staying on the island.
To ensure food during rainy and storm days, restaurants and hotels have prepared many necessities to serve tourists, with prices still the same as on normal days.
