On October 18, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that the unit had chaired and coordinated with the Mobile Police (PK02), the Administrative Management Police for Social Order and the Police of communes and wards to deploy 8 working groups to handle alcohol concentration violations across the province.
Each team consists of 20 officers and soldiers fully equipped with professional technical equipment and means, led by officers from the Traffic Police Department. Working groups simultaneously launched on key routes, focusing on strictly handling violations of alcohol concentration.
Previously, the Traffic Police force surveyed the area, identified routes and locations where traffic accidents often occurred, and common violation times to arrange patrol and control forces combined with disguise and ambush. The goal is to detect, prevent and thoroughly handle violating drivers, contributing to reducing traffic accidents caused by alcohol.
During their duties, officers and soldiers of the working groups strictly followed the People's Public Security's orders and the culture of behavior when interacting with people, ensuring compliance with procedures and discipline, no forbidden areas, no exceptions. Cases of obstruction, non-cooperation or resistance will be strictly handled according to regulations.
