On October 7, the Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Mai Xuan Liem has just directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve specific land prices as a basis for determining land rental fees for the Nam Song Ma Resort and Entertainment Park project in Quang Chau ward, Sam Son city (now Sam Son ward) for the land that the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has leased to Sun Group Joint Stock Company (phase 5) in Decision No. 2669/QD-UBND dated June 12, 2024
In addition, the Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance to urgently review and advise on approving the settlement of investment capital for the project to complete the Sam Son City Sea Square and Festival Landscape Area Project under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, BT contract under the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Based on the value of the settlement of investment capital for the project to complete the Sam Son City Sea Square Project, the Sam Son City Festival Landscape Axis (BT Project) and the total value of land use rights assigned to the Investor for payment, the Department of Agriculture and Environment was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units, carefully study the project documents and legal regulations to review and advise on the allocation of land for payment to investors implementing the BT Project to ensure compliance with current legal regulations.
The Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee clearly directed: "The Submission of the Department of Agriculture and Environment must have the content of the conclusion, affirming the accuracy, reality, and compliance with the provisions of law for the content of its reporting, advising, and proposing and must take full responsibility before the law, the inspection, examination, and auditing agencies, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the content of the reporting, advising, and proposing in accordance with the conclusion and direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee".
Previously, on September 19, the Department of Agriculture and Environment submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee requesting land allocation to Sun Group Joint Stock Company to pay for the Sam Son City Sea Square and Festival Landscape Area project under the form of public-private partnership (BT Contract) in Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province.
On April 27, 2024, the Sam Son City Sea Square and Festival Landscape Axis was officially put into operation by Sun Group Joint Stock Company and Thanh Hoa Provincial Government.
This is a large-scale investment project, with a 2ha square, with a capacity of about 10,000 people, a 2.6km long, 120m wide festival landscape axis connecting from the sea square to the South Ma River Avenue.
Sam Son Sea Square and water music shows have become a space for entertainment and recreation that attracts millions of visitors to the coastal city every year, creating a modern highlight, adding new vitality to Sam Son.
